On Ascension Day, June 2, 2011, librarians and colleagues cycled from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania joined in the route to accompany the international cyclists riding from Copenhagen to Berlin.
Before setting out for the next stage of the tour from Rostock to Güstrow, with visits to the points of interest in the city centre of Rostock in the morning.
The tour started at 13.00 p.m. beginning in the courtyard of Bücherspeicher in Schwaansche Straße 3a.

It was a great location with parking the cycles and electric cycles in the guarded inner courtyard in Schwaansche Straße 3a.
A stopover in Bützow provided the necessary recreation so that all were able to arrive in Güstrow at about 18.30 p.m.
