Specialized S-Works Turbo Creo 2

The S-Works Turbo Creo 2 is Specialized's flagship assisted endurance bike: FACT 11r carbon, the SL 1.2 motor, Future Shock 3.3 and a wireless SRAM RED / XX1 Eagle AXS build for long, hilly mixed-surface riding. It is for the experienced performance rider who wants that lightweight help on road and gravel, and who cares about carbon wheels, a dropper and the S-Works finishing kit.

Which build to compare

There is one current UK S-Works Turbo Creo 2. Match offers to the official £10,999.00 build with SRAM RED E1 controls and brakes, an XX1 Eagle AXS rear derailleur, 700x50c Tracer TLR tyres, Roval Terra CLX II wheels and the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle. Claimed weight for size 56 is 12.87 kg.

An earlier official 2025 bike sat in the same Creo 2 generation, not a new frame. It used earlier SRAM Red controls and brakes, 700x47c Tracer Pro tyres, an S-Works Power saddle and earlier Terra CLX II hub details, with a claimed size-56 weight of 12.96 kg and a £12,000 official RRP. A 2026 year label is not an official model year, and eRoad or electric gravel wording just describes the dual use, not extra S-Works variants.

Assistance, battery and range

The Specialized 1.2 SL Custom Lightweight Motor is claimed at 320 W and 50 Nm, with a fully integrated Specialized SL1-320 320 Wh battery. Specialized quotes up to five hours, with no route, rider, mode or elevation conditions attached, so do not plan a ride around that number. The Creo 2 platform supports a Specialized range extender if you want more capacity; it is not fitted here. Because the pack lives in the frame, you charge the bike rather than lifting a battery out.

Road, gravel and the days that mix both

Specialized intends it for endurance-road and gravel riding, including long, hilly mixed-surface routes. The 50c Tracer TLR All Terrain tyres, 20 mm of Future Shock 3.3 handlebar travel, a wireless Reverb AXS XPLR dropper, endurance geometry and official clearance up to 29x2.2 inches make the off-tarmac side central, not a side note. You can still run a road-biased tyre within that limit. The Terra CLX II wheels and Tracer TLR tyres are tubeless ready, though inner tubes are listed as fitted, so going tubeless is a conversion. The frame has mudguard and rack mounts, with support for front, rear and low-rider racks if you want to take it further afield.

What the S-Works kit adds

You are paying for the flagship specification over the Expert, Comp and Comp E5 Creo 2 models: SRAM RED / XX1 Eagle AXS, the wireless dropper, Terra CLX II wheels, a carbon cockpit and the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle. Those other Creo 2 bikes keep the same broad idea at materially lower official RRPs. This build is for the rider who wants that kit, not just the Creo 2 motor.

Sizing from 49 to 61

It comes in 49, 52, 54, 56, 58 and 61. Specialized publishes an interactive height and shin-length calculator rather than static rider-height or inseam bands, so use that tool and then look at the published reach, stack and size-specific cockpit numbers. Crank length, handlebar width, stem length, saddle width and dropper travel all change through the size run.
