About Bikesy

Bikesy is a UK cycling price comparison site. We track prices across 30 mainstream UK cycling retailers, updated daily, so you can see who actually has the best price on the bike, component or kit you're after.

How we make money

When you click through to a retailer and buy something, we may earn a commission. That's the whole business model - no subscriptions, no sponsored placements, no retailer pays to appear higher. Prices and rankings are ordered by the data, and the price you pay is the same whether you arrive through us or not.

Who runs it

Bikesy was founded in 2014 by Marco Faimali, a software engineer and lifelong cyclist - Beastway MTB series co-founder, former Addiscombe CC club captain, and long-time road safety campaigner. After nearly a decade of building the site behind the scenes, Marco now fronts Bikesy's data and commentary on bike prices, the e-bike market and UK cycling trends. Tony James has been part of Bikesy since the early days and handles day-to-day enquiries.

Why it exists

Bikesy started with a simple itch: cycling kit prices vary wildly between retailers, and checking them all by hand is a chore. Forty years of riding plus a software background produced the obvious answer - build the thing that checks for you. The aim hasn't changed since: help more people get on bikes by making the good deals easy to find.
