Orbea Rise M-Team

Orbea Rise M-Team

This is the one.

If you could have any assisted mountain bike that rode like a traditional mountain bike, but with the added advantage of a subtle motor that kicks in when you can really benefit from it, then Orbea's  Rise M-Team is the dream bike for you.

You've probably already heard about rhe Shimano EP8 motor that runs custom Orbea RS firmware. This being in line with Orbea's new "RS Concept" and how they work with Shimano, to make their "Rider First" design philosophy, this unique to Orbea tuning of the EP8 motor software puts responsiveness and efficiency at the top of its level of assistance, giving you a natural feeling boost when your cadence needs it most.

In keeping with its simple design, the 2023 Rise doesn't have any big controllers. Instead, it uses a simple rocker switch to switch between power modes and a sleek, inline twin LED display to show the mode quickly.

The EP8 motor in the new 2022 Rise models has a power band that is designed to make the bike feel like it's alive under you. It has a peak output of 60Nm and a smooth, responsive ride that matches your own power and cadence.
