Bikesy's Verdict

The Yeti LTe T3 is a compelling premium full-power e-enduro bike for riders who want composed speed, deep traction and enough battery for properly big days. Bosch CX assistance and the 800 Wh battery make technical climbs far more repeatable, while Sixfinity suspension, Factory Fox damping and Maven brakes give the bike the control to make those extra descents worthwhile. Its main trade-off is clear: at a claimed 23.3 kg in size L, it is a substantial, planted machine rather than a light, playful all-rounder. Casual riders and anyone prioritising low weight should look elsewhere. For committed enduro riders, though, the T3 is a deeply capable and satisfying package.

Pros

  • Bosch CX power and an 800 Wh battery suit long, demanding ride days
  • Sixfinity suspension delivers 160 mm of adjustable, controlled rear travel
  • Fox Factory suspension, Maven Silver brakes and carbon wheels are a high-end complete package
  • Full-29 stock wheels offer strong rollover, with a supported mixed-wheel option
  • TURQ carbon frame includes Vectran reinforcement and comprehensive protection

Cons

  • Claimed 23.3 kg size-L weight is noticeable when lifting, loading and riding without assistance
  • Sixfinity's extra links and bearings add servicing complexity
  • PowerMore 250 range-extender compatibility varies sharply by frame size

Compare Yeti LTe T3 prices and retailer offers

The Yeti LTe T3 is a serious full-power e-enduro bike for riders who want to climb back up for another fast, rough descent rather than call it a day after one lap. Its original UK RRP was £10,999, placing it firmly in premium territory. In return, you get Bosch CX assistance, an 800 Wh battery, Factory-level Fox suspension, carbon wheels and electronic X0 Transmission as one cohesive build.

It makes the most sense for confident intermediate to expert riders who value grip, support and calm handling when the trail turns properly demanding. Fast natural descents, technical woodland climbs, e-enduro events and uplift-style days are all in its wheelhouse. For gentle local loops or riders chasing a lighter, more playful feel, it is a lot of bike to manoeuvre and store. No getting around that.

What is the latest Yeti LTe T3?

The current UK Yeti LTe T3 is the 2026 first-generation LTe T3 X0 AXS Transmission. It pairs the standard Bosch Performance Line CX motor with an 800 Wh PowerTube battery, rather than the CX-R motor used on other LTe configurations. Bosch provides up to 100 Nm and 750 W maximum output, while UK assistance stops at 25 km/h. Below that limit, the strong support is especially useful when a steep, loose climb demands measured power rather than a frantic spin.

Keep the full name in view when comparing offers. The original T3 is the X0 AXS Transmission build described here, with Factory Fox suspension, Maven Silver brakes and DT Swiss HXC 1700 carbon wheels. Later LTe builds carrying the simpler X0 AXS name are separate configurations, with differences to the motor, cranks, dropper post and tyres.

Frame, Sixfinity suspension and ride character

A TURQ Series high-modulus carbon frame, Vectran impact reinforcement and comprehensive guards give the LTe T3 the protected, purpose-built feel expected of a hard-ridden eMTB. Sixfinity supplies 160 mm of rear travel, working with a 170 mm Fox 38 Factory GRIP X2 fork and Fox Float X2 Factory shock. The stock 29 in wheel setup favours rollover and stability when roots, rocks and braking bumps start arriving in quick succession.

Its geometry backs that up: a 64° head angle, 78° effective seat angle and 449 mm chainstay make for a long, planted chassis that should keep useful weight over the front wheel on steep climbs and fast corners. E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine found the T3 precise and composed on descents, while praising its traction on technical climbs. The emphasis is on control rather than lively flickability.

Sixfinity offers 25%, 30% and 35% progression settings, so you can tune how the rear end builds support through its travel. The least progressive setting gives a more linear response, 30% is the middle option, and 35% increases late-stroke resistance for bigger impacts and harder riding. It is meaningful adjustment without changing the frame, though the six-link layout brings more pivots and bearings to look after than a simpler suspension design.

The LTe T3 is supplied with two 29 in wheels, but its flip chip supports a compatible 27.5 in rear wheel if you want a more compact rear end. You will need the additional rear wheel and tyre, then set the chip to its mixed-wheel position to retain the intended geometry. It is a useful future option, not factory-fit equipment.

At a claimed 23.3 kg in size L, this is not a light e-bike pretending otherwise. The Bosch motor masks much of that mass when climbing, and the weight brings welcome composure once speed builds, but lifting it onto a vehicle rack, carrying it over an obstacle or riding it unpowered takes more effort. Ordinary trail rides are still possible, of course, but the 170 mm and 160 mm suspension package earns its keep most clearly on longer, rougher and faster days.

UK durability, servicing and ownership

The T3's electronics and suspension are premium, but the useful ownership habits are pleasantly basic. Wet grit, soft-compound tyres, full-power climbing and 200 mm rotors mean regular chain, brake-pad and tyre checks will pay off. If repeated rocky enduro or bike-park riding is on the agenda, a tougher front-tyre casing is a sensible protective upgrade. Clear the motor guard periodically too, particularly if stones begin making a noise.

The recessed charging-port access is a small everyday annoyance rather than a reliability concern. Its value and size also make secure storage, suitable insurance and an e-bike-rated vehicle rack worthwhile parts of the ownership plan. The frame has a top-tube accessory mount, plus dedicated provision for a compatible Bosch PowerMore holder.

The supplied 800 Wh battery is the main attraction for high-volume ride days. A compatible 600 Wh PowerTube is available separately for riders who would rather trade 200 Wh of capacity for a lighter setup on shorter outings. The optional Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender is more size-specific: it cannot be fitted to Small frames; Medium needs a compatible relocation bracket and clearance procedure with the stock shock; Large and XL can take it with the specified holder and 200 mm connection cable.

How the LTe changed from the Yeti 160E

The LTe replaces the Yeti 160E platform rather than representing a second generation of an older LTe. It moves to Bosch CX power and an 800 Wh stock battery, where the 160E used a 630 Wh battery. Yeti also gave the LTe a longer, slightly slacker chassis and developed the Sixfinity suspension around the new drive system. The result is a more current full-power package with a clear focus on sustained technical climbing and high-speed descending.

Key Features & Benefits

  • TURQ carbon Sixfinity frame: The high-modulus carbon chassis combines 160 mm of rear travel with Vectran reinforcement, frame guards and protected internal routing for hard e-enduro use.
  • Three progression settings: Choose between 25%, 30% and 35% progression to tailor the rear end's support and late-stroke resistance to your riding and setup.
  • Bosch CX smart system: The motor, Kiox 400C display, Wireless Mini Remote and 4A charger form a complete full-power system, with the 800 Wh battery supplied as standard.
  • Heavy-duty stopping and grip: Maven Silver hydraulic brakes with 200 mm HS2 rotors pair with soft-compound Schwalbe tyres for confidence when speed and repeated braking build.
  • Wheel-format flexibility: It arrives as a full-29 bike, while the dedicated flip chip permits a compatible 27.5 in rear-wheel conversion without discarding the intended geometry.

Premium full-power alternatives

The Specialized Turbo Levo 4 Pro gives you a larger 840 Wh battery and higher quoted motor figures of 105 Nm and 810 W. The LTe T3 answers with more travel, using 170 mm at the fork and 160 mm at the rear against the Specialized's 160 mm and 150 mm. Choose the Specialized for its extra battery capacity and motor output; choose the Yeti when the extra suspension travel and Sixfinity-led descending focus matter more.

Santa Cruz's Vala X0 AXS RSV is another Bosch-powered, carbon-wheeled alternative with X0 AXS and a mixed-wheel setup. Its 600 Wh battery and 150 mm rear travel make a clear contrast with the LTe T3's 800 Wh battery and 160 mm rear travel. The Vala suits riders drawn to its factory mixed-wheel format, while the Yeti offers greater stock battery capacity and more rear travel.

What independent reviewers found

Benedikt Schmidt at E-MOUNTAINBIKE Magazine tested the first-generation LTe T3 X0 Transmission and found it efficient and traction-rich on technical climbs, then precise, stable and composed on the way down. He also noted that the sporty front-end position could feel low on the steepest descents, while the recessed charging-port access was less convenient in everyday use.

Pinkbike's Dario DiGiulio rode a high-spec Bosch CX LTe matching the T3's core configuration. He highlighted the rear suspension's unusually controlled feel, strong grip and predictable support, describing a race-focused bike that stays glued to the ground rather than chasing a particularly poppy ride. That matches the LTe's planted character: rewarding when you commit to a line, less so if manuals and rapid direction changes are your priority.

In longer-term testing, Dylan Wood and Simon Stewart at Blister found the size-L chassis well suited to fast trails, but noted that saddle position, bar height and the 160 mm cranks had a meaningful effect on fit. The LTe's cockpit setup is worth treating as part of the bike's handling character, rather than an afterthought.
